What is Product Stewardship?

On July 1, 2013, PaintCare, a non-profit association of paint and blanket manufacturers, rolled out a program in Connecticut designed to collect and recycle unwanted paint and coatings. The program is a directly result of the Paint Stewardship Law passed in 2011 and has resulted in a network of convenient drop-off locations for unwanted oil and latex pigment. There are over 140 retail drib-off locations in the state.
